Abstract
Una profunda reflexión sobre la Verdad, hecha por Santo Tomás, conduce a desentrañar sus virtualidades y con ello cuestionar el "cientismo" hoy. Del texto glosado se pasa a puntualizar el sentido de sus más significativas instancias. Las consecuencias aparecen obvias: no sólo se alcanza la justificación de la evidencia como criterio de verdad, sino además se patentiza la intencionalidad de la conciencia y su mundaneidad, con lo cual aparece el hombre como espíritu encarnado.
