Abstract
El artículo consta de 2 partes. En la primera, el autor, amigo personal de X. Zubiri, desarrolla una sentida semblanza del pensador Vasco, haciendo hincapié en su formación científica, especialmente en las áreas de la física y la biología, que ha permitido a Zubiri realizar una filosofía desde la realidad previamente sabida por las ciencias. Dentro del marco biográfico sitúa el articulista la labor universitaria y extrauniversitaria de Zubiri así como sus publicaciones filosóficas.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public, encourages greater global exchange of knowledge.
