Abstract
En 1954 publica el conocido agustinólogo Lope Cilleruelo un artículo titulado "La memoria sui" (La memoria de si mismo) (1). Es el comienzo de una lectura original de S. Agustín. Original por cuanto se libera de las tradicionales trabas que ligan de antemano sus novedosas creaciones a las más disparatadas tendencias del quehacer filosófico, tanto anteriores como posteriores a S. Agustín.
A partir de este hito histórico en la interpretación de S. Agustín es posible el presente artículo.
