Abstract
Antes de entrar a estudiar las representaciones plásticas producidas por nuestros primitivos, deseo clarificar una serie de conceptos teóricos sobre la naturaleza del arte en general en relación con el arte entre los primitivos.
Muchas veces hemos sido llevados a pensar en el arte como una manifestación aislada o des-relacionada del espíritu humano, o de las demás manifestaciones de él debido a la influencia de manuales demasiado especializados, que insistiendo en los valores del detalle, (que de ninguna manera trato de minusvalorar) han descuidado una visión co-relacional y sintética de todas las manifestaciones del espíritu humano.
