Abstract
El doctor Antonio Goncalez del consejo (2) rreal de las yndias de su magestad.(3)g'ovemador y capitán general del nuevo (4) rreyno de granada y presidente de la (5) rreal audiencia de santa fee por quanto aviendo (6) procurado por la rreal audiencia de este rreyno (7) por las perssonas que en nombre de el rrey nuestro (8) señor le an hordenado poner las cosas de las na (9) turales del en estado que vivan en quietud y des (10) cansso y sean yndustriados en las cossas de (11) nuestra sancta fee católica encaminando su sal (.12) vagion en (que= tachado) ella y que su vida y costumbres'(13) se mejoren en la policía combiniente y al trato (14) y comercio de los rresidentes en estas pro (15) vincias y que los dichos naturales tengan (16) pusible y aprovechamientos para pa (17) gar sus demoras sustentar y alimentar (18) sus cassas e.yr enracrecentamiento (19) asi en buenas costumbres como en (20.) utilidad y para conseguir lo susso dicho (21) parescio de presente combiniente (22) que se nombrasen perssonas de satis(23)facion y cristiandad exemplo y confi (24) anza que administrasen los dichos yndios
