Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo es exponer y analizar el concepto de Función, especialmente dentro del pensamiento de Bronislaw Malinowski. Pero tal propósito no puede circunscribir toda la atención a ese concepto solamente, sino que debe ampliarla a toda la formulación teórica que Malinowski elaboró sobre la Cultura. Además, tendremos que hacer referencias a enunciados de otros funcionalistas-estructuralistas como Evans-Pritchard y Radcliffe-Brown.
