Abstract
Resulta poco menos que imposible redactar la primera crónica sobre el momento presente de la Facultad sin hacer una alusión al pasado.- La vida humana, es histórica, y esto significa que todo presente incluye un pasado que actúa en él como elemento esclarecedor de su contenido y de bu significado. Por esto, al iniciar el recuento de las actividades que nos son cronológicamente más inmediatas no podemos eliminar el humanísimo gesto de volver la cara hacia atrás.
Precisamente, el acontecimiento tal vez más destacado en la vida de la Facultad durante el año 1970, la conmemoración del 25* aniversario de su aprobación por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional, implica una referencia esencial al pasado. En virtud de dicha aprobación todos los títulos expedidos, ayer u hoy, por la Facultad y dé modo explícito, el de Doctor tienen el reconocimiento oficial del Estado colombiano. Con todo, al recibir su. aprobación oficial, la Facultad contaba ya con diez años de fecunda labor educativa y cultural de la que queda constancia en el documento" de aprobación.
