Abstract
El miedo entendido como una construcción social e interpretación cultural, ha permitido desde la investigación, La construcción social del miedo en Medellín, indagar por miedos y respuestas mediadas socialmente.
Se encuentra que el miedo disgrega, levanta murallas reales y simbólicas, pero también tiene una fuerza adhesiva que une, propiciando un sentimiento compartido de vulnerabilidad. En dicha frontera se observan los efectos en las formas de sociabilidad; unas veces se trata de configuraciones que emergen con el miedo y otras de formas pre-existentes que se potencian en respuesta a éste sentimiento socialmente construido.
