Abstract
Cuando visité a mi hijo Viggo Gabriel en un ejido de la cañada de Patihuitz, a la vera de la selva Lacandona, donde él se alojaba, su generoso anfitrión tzeltal nos dijo, una noche de lluvia, en el portal de su casa, durante una inolvidable plática de varias horas: «Queremos a Marcos porque siente igual que nosotros y porque dice en castilla lo mismo que nosotros decimos en nuestra lengua». A unos pasos de la casa donde había vivido Marcos hasta antes del 8 de febrero de 1995 cuando el ejército invadió Las Cañadas, entendí entonces lo que otro hombre de esa misma tierra y otra lluvia de ese mismo cielo le habían revelado hacía diez años al propio Marcos: su destino de puentear mundos.
