Abstract
Aparentemente la historia de América Latina se ha desarrollado con el silencio de la mujer. Sin ser una actitud intencional, aún menos un rasgo característico ha sido común dentro de la historia universal. Más no es por falta de capacidades, inteligencia o aptitudes del género femenino. El hombre y las condiciones biológicas e históricas se han unido para relegarla a un segundo planto. Factores que han sido complementados con la actitud indiscriminada de los intérpretes de la historia, para quienes ha pasado desapercibida.
