Abstract

El concepto de trabajo ha sido analizado con una racionalidad productivista, fundamentada en los enfoques clásicos y neoclásicos de la economía, los cuales le asignan una valoración económica y social, solamente a las actividades remuneradas. En contraste, se considera como “no trabajo” a aquellas labores femeninas realizadas al interior de la unidad familiar, quedan excluídas de la esfera productiva. Por lo tanto, las mujeres no vinculadas al mercado de trabajo, se definen como población económicamente inactivas, sin embargo de su labor en el hogar, dependen de la reproducción y la reposición de la fuerza de trabajo que participa en la valorización del capital y por consiguiente el capital se sirve de esta labor.
