Abstract
La Canasta (The hamper) –an agroecological network– is a supportive and collaborative issue that connects local small-scale agroecological producers with consumers in Bogota. It is a process that builds vital links for both parts that are materialized, among others, in written communications that the Canasta team maintains with consumers on a weekly basis. In this article, leaning on the feminist theory of care applied to social studies of science and technology, it is argued that La Canasta takes care and therefore contributes to maintain pro-commons –common goods– of various sorts. Looking into the pro-commons that promote this agroecological network, I wonder how the web generated by the communications team of La Canasta involves ethos of care principles and how, in this way, it produces another pro-common.
