Abstract
Este trabajo busca hacer una serie de reflexiones sobre la temática del Intercambio y la reciprocidad en la familia contemporánea; para ello el autor presenta unos conceptos básicos que le permiten alcanzar a nivel teórico los fenómenos de intercambio y reciprocidad; para estudiar, luego, cómo se presentan estos fenómenos tanto dentro de la relación doméstica, como en la relación del grupo con el mundo exterior, analizando como éstos inciden en la integración y desintegración familiar colombiana.
