Abstract
La problemática que gira, alrededor del origen de esta cultura reviste una complejidad enorme,, debido no solo a la dificultad inherente a todas las averiguaciones sobre orígenes, o a la enmarañada selva de aportes para su solución, sino por el hecho de haber sido el pueblo griego un grupo étnico de formación muy diversa —tal que sería preferible hablar dé pueblos griegos— colocado por las circunstancias en un ámbito geográfico, que no fue otra cosa que un corredor de culturas muy diferenciadas que se influyeron recíprocamente, llegando a constituir una ecúmene (Oriente Clásico y Grecia) de la cual brotarían los principales lineamientos de la civilización occidental.
