Abstract
En el presente trabajo se establece la diferencia entre enseñar la Filosofía y enseñar a filosofar, y se critica la política educativa actual colombiana, que, a partir del Decreto 80/80 —sobre Reforma de la Educación Superior—, ha deprimido todos los tüulos colombianos de Licenciatura, entre ellos el de Filosofía, reduciéndolos a un testimonio de que quien los posee puede enseñar una disciplina en el Bachillerato. Licencia quiere decir, de suyo, que quien se hace acredor a tal título posee una disciplina con propiedad, y por lo mismo la puede enseñar a todos los niveles. Desde otra perspectiva, la legislación vigente, por una parte, induce el sentido de que quienes han hecho una carrera de Filosofía más profunda y completa que la exigida a los licenciados estén, en gran medida, impedidos para enseñar Filosofía en el Bachillerato Y. por otra parte, fomente la producción de profesionales de la docencia carentes de conocimientos profundos en las disciplinas que enseñan.
