Abstract
En el acontecer histórico del progreso de los pueblos siempre es posible encontrar aportes a la matemática que fueron originados por la necesidad que tuvo el hombre de resolver algún problema particular. Por ejemplo el inicio de las fracciones unitarias en el antiguo Egipto fue motivado por la necesidad de hacer el reparto equitativo del grano almacenado en las épocas de sequía o hambruna. El mismo desarrollo del pensamiento lógico deductivo ,iniciado en Grecia, satisface la necesidad del hombre occidental de trascender más allá de la cotidianidad.
En los últimos cien años el avance científico es cada vez más integral. La globalización llegó para quedarse en la investigación científica, trayendo la grata consecuencia del trabajo en equipo en donde cada uno aporta desde su fortaleza disciplinar...
