Abstract
En este artículo se aportan algunas reflexiones al debate sobre la formación y lasacciones de la Asociación de Productores Ecológicos ‘Compañeros de la Naturaleza’,del Consejo de Administración de Desarrollos Regionales (COREDE),Valle del Caí,estado del Río Grande del Sur, Brasil. En 1997 este grupo de campesinos se reuniópara fortalecerse, frente a las presiones del mercado y librarse de los fertilizantessintéticos y agrotóxicos. Establecieron un acuerdo y una agenda de acciones, a finde producir agroalimentos de tipo ecológico. Formalizaron su asociación legalmente,contando con el apoyo del Gobierno, para construir una empacadora con finesde valorizar sus productos, que son vendidos directamente por los miembros a losconsumidores en los mercados de los productores.Ambiente y Desarrollo is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
