Abstract
This research investigates how evaluation processes are endogenized in the practices of university research groups. A case study is proposed in a Colombian university, through semi-structured interviews and a documentary analysis, taking as an axis of analysis the process of measurement of groups that is conducted at the national level. Based on the literature on research evaluation and management, it is found that in groups and in the institution, learnings emerge from the evaluation process, which is translated into differentiated strategies and research and management practices. These results contribute to the understanding of the performative dimension of research evaluation.
