Abstract
Si retomamos el asunto inicial sobre el mutuo impacto entre los estudios culturales y la historiografía, y sobre la carencia de historia en la episteme de los años 70 y 80, me permito volver una vez más a la narrativa fundacional de los estudios culturales. Concluido este relato, examinaré dos enfoques teóricos para justificar la importancia de recurrir a la historia, o al menos interpelarla, y, de este modo, establecer las formulaciones conceptuales de los llamados estudios culturales.
