Abstract
Ciertamente, podría organizarse una historia de la narrativa colombiana a partir de las formas en que se representan las relaciones sociales que se han estructurado alrededor de los diferentes proyectos de exportación de mercancías. Esta historia incluiría las formaciones sociales que emergieron de la crisis del sistema de hacienda (esclavista o de peones y aparceros), provocada por las reformas de medio siglo en el XIX, realizadas con el fin de ampliar la frontera agrícola del país hacia las tierras bajas y redistribuir la población para extraer productos destinados a mercados externos, y cuyos testimonios más sólidos son Manuela (1859) de Eugenio Díaz y María (1867) de Jorge Isaacs.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
