Abstract
El ensayo se propone mostrar que existen ejemplos en la literatura contemporánea de escenarios para la relación Mundo y Nación que escapan al modelo occidental de centro y periferia, de influencia y autonomía y de sumisión y resistencia. Sugiere que el desafío para el escritor brasileño contemporáneo es tratar los temas nacionales con un sentimiento que se alimenta de una cierta intimidad global y de una visión, o un Imaginario Global, cuyo perspectivismo refleja la inserción de Brasil en el panorama mundial.
