Abstract
La “crónica en fragmentos” escrita por Juan Villoro luego del terremoto de Chile ocurrido en febrero de 2010, donde el azar (o el “destino”) lo encontró participando del Congreso Iberoamericano de Lengua y Literatura Infantil y-Juvenil, es pródiga en réplicas. Se replican allí (reverberan y se cuestionan) experiencias de orden personal y colectivo, de orden estético literario e histórico político. En ese contexto, algunos motivos cobran particular importancia: la figura paterna; las transformaciones del género cronístico operadas por ese “padre alternativo” llamado Carlos Monsiváis y sus reapropiaciones por parte de Villoro (en este caso en especial, de No sin nosotros. Los días del terremoto 1985-2005); la construcción de “autobiografía alterna” que posibilita actualizar momentos traumáticos de la historia chilena, pasados y presentes; la revisión de la propia escritura y del papel de los sismos en esa trayectoria. Examinar algunas de esas réplicas textuales es el propósito de este artículo.
