Abstract
El artículo parte de la puesta en cuestión de lo nacional y el nacionalismo forjados a base de metáforas telúricas para propiciar una idea de la nacionalidad como espacio flotante, relacional y ambiguo. Desde esta perspectiva, se lee a César Vallejo y su vida parisina para analizar los efectos que el deslizamiento territorial produjo en su escritura. En el seno de la modernidad europea de entreguerras, Vallejo experimentó una forma de vida“cósmica” y “extraterritorial” que le permitió articular una mirada singular y recuperar su país natal a partir de un conjunto de metáforas en las que
el paisaje y lo telúrico retornan impregnados por el magnetismo de París.
