Abstract
Con un doctorado en Literatura comparada de Cornell University en Estados Unidos, la doctora Shalini Puri ejerce como profesora en University of Pittsburgh, Pensilvania, en el departamento de Literatura inglesa, donde imparte teoría poscolonial y literatura del Caribe. Ha publicado, como editora, en 2003, el libro Marginal Migrations: The Circulations of Cultures within the Caribbean y recientemente editó Legacies Left: Radical Politics in the Caribbean (2010). La siguiente reseña comentará algunos de los aportes de su libro más conocido, The Caribbean Postcolonial: Social Equality, Post-Nationalism, and Cultural Hibrydity, publicado en 2004 por la casa editorial Palgrave Macmillan.Cuadernos de Literatura is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
