Abstract
Son muchos los libros que pasan a lo largo de la vida por nuestras manos,pero son pocos los que quedan para siempre en la memoria y en el corazón. Las novelas Texaco de Patrick Chamoiseau y Barrancos del alba de Raphaël Confiant, dos de los escritores martiniqueños más importantes de las últimas décadas, son un buen ejemplo de ello.

Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged.
