Abstract

El ensayo se propone realizar algunas consideraciones sobre el impacto del cine norteamericano en la sociedad de los años 1920- y 1930, a partir de narrativas latinoamericanas producidas durante dicho periodo. El hilo conductor del análisis se vincula a las nociones de “deseo mimético” (Girard), y “situación cine” (Mauerhofer), así como a la actualización del motivo del doble (y su sucedáneo “realista”, el dublé), en ese contexto.
