Resumen

El artículo informa sobre la evaluación de los resultados en salud y bienestar de las intervenciones en espacios públicos inclusivos, co-diseñadas, co-implementadas y co-gestionadas dentro del proyecto IN-HABIT en Nitra, Eslovaquia. Basado en datos de una encuesta por cuestionario, la investigación destaca variaciones en los beneficios percibidos entre diferentes grupos sociales. El bienestar psicológico mejoró principalmente entre las comunidades marginadas, mientras que la cohesión social y la satisfacción espacial fueron significativas en todos los grupos objetivo. Los mayores beneficios no se reportaron únicamente por la experiencia de espacios públicos mejorados, sino por la participación activa en su diseño, implementación y gestión. Estos hallazgos sugieren que un desarrollo urbano verdaderamente inclusivo y efectivo debe priorizar la participación significativa de la comunidad, asegurando que las intervenciones reflejen las necesidades, aspiraciones y experiencias vividas de diversas poblaciones. Al integrar enfoques participativos en la planificación urbana, las ciudades pueden fomentar entornos más equitativos, resilientes y saludables.
