Resumo
O artigo apresenta a avaliação dos resultados em saúde e bem-estar das intervenções em espaços públicos inclusivos, co-desenhadas, co-implementadas e co-gerenciadas no âmbito do projeto IN-HABIT em Nitra, Eslováquia. Com base em dados de uma pesquisa por questionário, a pesquisa destaca variações nos benefícios percebidos entre diferentes grupos sociais. O bem-estar psicológico melhorou principalmente entre comunidades marginalizadas, enquanto a coesão social e a satisfação espacial foram significativas em todos os grupos-alvo. Os maiores benefícios não foram apenas a experiência de espaços públicos melhorados, mas a participação ativa no seu design, implementação e gestão. Esses achados sugerem que um desenvolvimento urbano verdadeiramente inclusivo e eficaz deve priorizar a participação significativa da comunidade, garantindo que as intervenções reflitam as necessidades, aspirações e experiências vividas por diversas populações. Ao incorporar abordagens participativas no planejamento urbano, as cidades podem promover ambientes mais equitativos, resilientes e saudáveis.
