Resumen

El artículo examina el impacto de metodologías participativas en la transformación de espacios públicos en el barrio de Las Palmeras, Córdoba. Se investiga cómo la participación en procesos de co-diseño, co-ejecución, co-gestión y co-evaluación influye en la regeneración urbana y en el fortalecimiento del tejido social. La metodología se basa en la Investigación Acción Participativa, integrando talleres, entrevistas y observación directa para identificar necesidades y co-crear soluciones. Los resultados indican mejoras en la apropiación del espacio, cohesión social, empoderamiento, sentido de pertenencia, orgullo comunitario y resiliencia, pese a desafíos en el mantenimiento y en la implicación homogénea de la comunidad. El estudio concluye que la participación activa promueve intervenciones sostenibles y refuerza el compromiso ciudadano, estableciendo un modelo replicable en entornos urbanos vulnerables.
