Resumo

O artigo examina o impacto de metodologias participativas na transformação dos espaços públicos no bairro Las Palmeras, em Córdoba. Investiga como a participação em processos de co-design, co-execução, co-gestão e co-avaliação influencia a regeneração urbana e fortalece a coesão social. A metodologia baseia-se na Pesquisa-Ação Participativa, integrando oficinas, entrevistas e observação direta para identificar necessidades e cocriar soluções. Os resultados indicam melhorias na apropriação do espaço, na coesão social, no empoderamento, no senso de pertencimento, no orgulho comunitário e na resiliência, apesar dos desafios relacionados à manutenção e à participação desigual da comunidade. O estudo conclui que a participação ativa promove intervenções sustentáveis e reforça o compromisso cidadão, estabelecendo um modelo replicável em ambientes urbanos vulneráveis.
