Abstract

This is a paper published by the author several years ago, which he has written again, amplifying and updating. It is an expanded and corrected version in which there is also a new part. The paper deal with what the author call ‘The Legal Insurance Principles’, among he has considered: mutuality, indemnity (including subrogation and contribution), good faith, insurable interest and proximate cause. On this work, he make a detail review of every one of these principles using specially Common Law cases because it has developed them in more detail.
