Abstract
This article is a piece of a qualitative study's reference framework entitled A Path under Construction: Perceptions and Extent of Domiciliary Advisories as a Part of the Community based Reabilitation, the experience in Bogotá. It shows the progress reached by these actions on people in situation of disability, developed by the Local Secretary of Health in the twenty localities of Bogotá. A path of conceptual and theoretical statements on community based rehabilitation proposed by te WHO, the ILO, the HPO is evidenced. And also the adoption and adaptation of this path by the Local Secretary of Health for the operation of the strategy, like part ofthe prevention and management of the disability in Bogotá. Community based rehabilitation is important because it is able to approach the interests and potentialities of the people in situation of disability, their families, the institutions and professionals in the matter, thus to advance in the leveling of opporunities and social inclusion of this population.
