Abstract
This article of thematic review, manages the topic of septic shock, addressed from the physiopathology, clinical manifestations and identification of a proposal for nursing intervention that contains the diagnoses nurses for the systems: neurological, cardiovascular, lung, kidney and metabolic. The article is important for nursing professionals because it offers some guidelines to implement and justify the relevant care and consistent with the needs physiopathology in units of critical care. The revision starts with some concepts from the scientific literature that define the septic shock on which builds a definition with a particular vision, then a review physiopathology that explains the complications systemic level on the basis some bodies. In the same order are persented and analyzed clinical manifestations of septic shock intending to give the nursing diagnosis according to the concepts of the NANDA and exercising other diagnostic possibilities from the experience of the authors of this article.
