Abstract

The present article displays necessary elements for understanding the situation that this society –in its way towards post-modernity– has been experiencing. It pretends to leave behind the traditional tensions that have existed between education and communication, not only in order to move forward towards the design of a new relation among these areas, but also in order to strengthen a new knowledge and a new scenario able to resist the idea of though based upon utilitarianism –demanding an education ruled by control, discipline, memory, homogenization and standardization of children and young. Thus, the article proposes an incorporation of communicational elements common to these new generations into educational spheres in order to shape a new group of people able to face such a complex reality.
