Abstract
The intention of this article is to report part of which has become in the last two years the universal value of the fortifications in America and the world; as well as some statistical studies in the nomination of some Caribbean Fortifications in the World Heritage List. This listing has been done by CIIC from ICOMOS, the same as the studies for serial nomination of some fortifications in the Pacific and in France. This demonstrates the typological influences which are presented in the modern fortification in America with treaties such as Vauban and others made in Mexico, as well as they were applied in the San Juan de Ulúa Fortification.Apuntes is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
