Abstract

Ante el hecho de que no existe acuerdo entre los investigadores sobre cómo conceptualizar la confianza interpersonal, se analizaron las expresiones metafóricas sobre confianza producidas por estudiantes, identificando las metáforas conceptuales, las dimensiones de la confianza interpersonal que se manifiestan con mayor frecuencia en estas expresiones y estableciendo las posibles relaciones entre tales dimensiones. Se encuestó a 61 estudiantes pertenecientes a las carreras de psicología y educación parvularia. Fueron obtenidas 124 expresiones metafóricas, referidas a 17 metáforas conceptuales. Del análisis de contenido de las expresiones metafóricas se propusieron 9 dimensiones en la conceptualización de la confianza. La discusión se centra en el significado implícito que los estudiantes le asignan a la confianza interpersonal.
