Abstract

This presentation discusses the development of psychology teaching at the National University of Córdoba, in the first half of the twentieth century. The study of psychology programs taught at the Institute of Philosophy between 1937 and 1954, establishes that Aristotelian-Thomistic orientation became the distinctive profile of teaching in that period. This dominant matrix showed no interest in developing scientific advances in psychology since the early century. Possibly this perspective was linked to a clerical influence in the university, which was integrated into a political project that made Cordoba the center of resistance to the liberalism of the capital.
