Abstract
El artículo presenta una revisión critica del estado de los programas de formación universitaria de comunicadores sociales en relación con el campo comunicativo Colombiano. Propone la tarea de profundizar en las implicaciones y los desafíos de la comunicación como campo del saber y como ejercicio profesional, investigar la relación comunicación-sociedad y planear unos nuevos mapas-atlas para orientarse en el nuevo mundo contemporáneo. La proyección de las faultades de comunicación hacia la sociedad colombiana debe intensificarse en campos como la formación de investigadores, la comprensión de los medios y su papel en procesos educativos y la promoción de políticas públicas y democráticas de comunicación.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
