Abstract
El autor construye un estado de arte de los estudios de comunicación en relación con la violencia, realizados en Colombia en los últimos años. Haciendo un recuento de los principales aportes en esta área, rescata el hecho de que es el dialogo entre comunicación y cultura el que ha sacado a la investigación comunicativa de su encerramiento en los problemas de los medios, reubicando su significación y abriendo nuevos campos, al tocar el tema de las culturas políticas y redefinir sus encuentros con la propia comunicación que tiene una importancia decisiva para nuevas entradas al análisis de las violencias.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
