Abstract
En este ensayo la autora parte del supuesto de que las sociedades contemporáneas han atestiguado transformaciones en las interrelaciones ente imágenes y escrituras. Se esboza la historia de la cultura como una historia de las escrituras. Se afirma que las nuevas iconografías digitales ponen en crisis los diversos sistemas de representación y se propone un decálogo que, según la autora, marcará la forma escritural digital. Las diez nociones que se trabajan en el ensayo son: virtualidad, textualidad, interactividad, Autor-Lector / Emisor-Receptor (o interfaz), codificación, espacialidad, hipertextualidad, grafismo, 'work in progress' y materialidad inmaterial. Se concluye que "el medio ya no es el mensaje, pues 'no hay más medio', solamente el tránsito de información entre soportes, interfaces, conceptos y modelos como meras matrices numéricas". Se concluye que la imagen digital "es el medio que más recuerda al realismo y al mismo tiempo el más abstracto de los sistemas expresivos. La imagen sintética pone en escena esa paradoja de lo real de una forma como ningún otro medio lo había hecho antes".This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
