Abstract
Se presenta un conjunto de hallazgos de la investigación los niños como audiencias, estudio sobre procesos de recepción de medios por escolares de primaria de 8 a 10 años de edad realizado por el Ministerio de Comunicaciones de Colombia y la univesidad del Valle (Cali Colombia). El trabajo empírico se desarrolló durante 1996-97 y el informe final fue terminado en 1998. en la primera parte del artículo se abordan autores y reflexiones teóricas relevantes para los debates sobre la comunicación y la educación. En la segunda se describen una serie de aspectos sobre la relacion de los niños con los medios, identificados durante la indagación, los cuales configuran una agenda de trabajo y creatividad tanto como para el sistema escolar y los proyectos educativos en sentido amplio, como para los mismos medios: la prensa, la publicidad, la radio, la industria disquera, la television, el video, la informatica. Especialmente se abordan los temas de TV y vida sicoafectiva infantil, y el de la eficacia relativa de los medios masivos en la construcción de conocimientos sobre la sociedad.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
