Abstract
En el legado de Juan Pablo II, protagonista excepcional de la transición hacia el III milenio cristiano, el tema de la educación superior ocupa un espacio importante. La universidad ha estado siempre muy cerca del corazón de este hombre de Polonia que estuvo vinculado estrechamente muchos años al mundo académico, primero como estudiante y luego como profesor. Tres grandes ejes temáticos se reconocen en los textos del papa Wojtila durante los 25 años de su pontificado: la relación entre educación y cultura, la relación entre fe y razón, y la evangelización. En ellos el Papa defiende la libertad y la sabiduría, ideales universitarios que, según advierte con vehemencia sólo se pueden alcanzar con plenitud desde la fe.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
