Abstract
Durante el año académico de 1980 se han tenido significativos avances tanto en revisión, renovación de programas, y en ampliación de servicios a las Facultades, como en el campo de la investigación.
El Consejo de la Facultad sesionó durante el año, a un promedio de dos seminarios por mes. Terminó la elaboración del Reglamento de la Facultad y lo remitió a la Rectoría. Evaluó el trabajo académico en base a las observaciones que la Rectoría hizo al informe anual. Estudió proyectos de organización del Departamento de Estudios Latinoamericanos y de la creación de Cátedra Fray Bartolomé de las Casas. Trazó políticas generales a propósito de asuntos propuestos por la Decanatura.
