Abstract
La Revolución Cubana fue, sin duda, el fenómeno que más estremeció a todo el continente americano durante la pasada década de 1960-1970. La conversión de la bella isla del Caribe en el primer país socialista-marxista de América y su alianza con la Unión Soviética culminaron en la fuerte tensión mundial de 1962. Todavía hoy, Cuba es una de las piezas en el tablero de la política internacional; su proceso revolucionario continúa y constituye el modelo a establecer, bien mediante fiel reproducción, bien en algunos aspectos, para quienes buscan soluciones radicales y violentas a la problemática socio-económica de América Latina.
