Abstract
Issue 80 of the Universitas Humanística Journal, called for articles that develop ethnographic approaches to the multiple articulations between ethnicity and borders that emerge in different latitudes of contemporary Latin America. The dossier explores how this articulation invigorates, transforms, or dissolves dominant ideas about the place –and not only in the spatial sense of the word– that the ethnic subjects should occupy in Latin-American countries, and what kinds of borders are established and disputed from there on.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public, encourages greater global exchange of knowledge.
The journal Universitas Humanística is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License. Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged.
