Abstract
Este artículo analiza las trayectorias de dos líderes del movimiento indígena del Cauca (Colombia), Manuel Quintín Lame –indígena nasa- y Juan Gregorio Palechor –indígena yanacona-. Se trata de enmarcar la discusión en una visión crítica de la geopolítica del conocimiento a partir de la cual se contemplen posibles salidas en pro de la consolidación de pensamientos latinoamericanos autónomos. Se realiza, específicamente, una revisión de las categorías intelectual indígena e indígena militante, mostrando que esta división es una herencia ético-epistemológica a ser cuestionada. En el fondo, el debate consiste en mostrar trayectorias interculturales que, de hecho, han construido comunidades políticas y, por eso mismo, reivindican una interdependencia entre ciencia y política, dicotomía propia de un pensamiento fundamentalmente eurocéntrico.This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public, encourages greater global exchange of knowledge.
