Abstract
Este trabajo intenta explicar el valor literario y significativo de la nove/a de Alba Lucía Ángel "Estaba la pájara pinta sentada en el verde limón". Por un parte, se explícita el mundo de la violencia, sus implicaciones subterráneas y la actitud de la mujer inmersa dentro de él; por otra, se detalla la experimentación narrativa de la obra que se manifiesta en una compleja estructura capaz de tejer una visión de mundo a partir de varios asuntos: el sexo, el compromiso social, la obsesión por Ja muerte y la afirmación de la mujer en la historia.
