Los comuneros en la provincia de Maracaibo

Abstract

Transcripción del documento encontrado en el Archivo Nacional de Co­lombia, sección de la Colonia, Fondo "Negocios Exteriores", tomó 2, folios 642 a 670v., en el que se hace referencia a la extensión del Movimiento de los Comuneros Neogranadinos al actual territorio de Venezuela. Contiene in­formación acerca de los ejércitos comuneros, sus capitanes, los pueblos toma­dos por el Común, las acciones emprendidas para dominar/o, y la forma cómo fue controlado este movimiento en dicho territorio. Contiene también el do­cumento informaciones referentes a otros sucesos acaecidos durante la sépti­ma y octava década del siglo XVIII en el territorio Venezolano.
