Abstract
Jamás se había escrito tanto sobre la existencia de una cultura, ni se había definido con tantos nombres, ni se habían buscado tan ansiosamente los valores originales de una cultura, ni se había polemizado tanto sobre sus raíces. Nunca se había recurrido a tantos neologismos para expresar estados de ánimo relacionados con una cultura, porque en verdad la cultura Hispanoamericana, o Iberoamericana, o Latinoamericana, o Euroamérica menor, o de la América española, se problematiza, se concientiza, se cuestiona, se formaliza y hasta se cosifica. Tal parece que la vieja lengua cervantina no sirviera ya para el tratamiento de los problemas culturales de los pueblos hispanoamericanos.
