Abstract

In this paper the author refers to the form as several codes belonging
to the Germanic Roman system contemplate the obligation of sellers
of transfer of property to the buyer, in opposition to those which assume
that the transfer of property is a direct and immediate effect of the
sale contract.

In the second part analyses the meaning of this obligation in the
Colombian law, in the Civil Code the commercial code as in the United
Nations Convention on Contracts For the International Sale of Goods
adopted in Colombia by the Law 518 of 1999.
